"While I welcome Russia’s commitment to gradually reduce or eliminate export duties on certain raw materials, I see that Russia is nevertheless allowed to introduce new tariffs on any products not listed in the schedule to its protocol of accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO). That is why I voted for this bilateral agreement which introduces an additional list of raw materials, with the same commitments as those in the WTO list. I notice that this list includes certain agricultural products, minerals or derivatives from animal products, which are a major cause for concern to the EU."@en1
