"Mr President, even though I thought I got your message that I should not ask for the floor, I will do it anyway.
Normally, I agree with Kay Swinburne, but in these circumstances I do not. I think that it is actually a fundamental right to have a basic bank account. Our appeal to the Commissioner today is that these fundamental rights have to be protected. If recommendations and self-regulation are not enough, we need legislation at European level. I hope that we will get that."@en1
