A major company, the second largest in the region of Lazio, is closing down, and with it, related firms. This company was acquired with the intention to force it into bankruptcy and to shift production to third countries. Therefore, the institutions must now work to provide a future for Videocon and its workers who are going through a time of crisis, and who, for seven long years, have been living in a state of total job uncertainty.
