Such regulation would not have been possible without the existence of a single European market. It would not have been possible without the close cooperation of European institutions. At the same time, it is a measure that will help all EU citizens financially, especially during holidays. I understand why, in recent months, steps taken by EU representatives have provoked resentment and often justified criticism among citizens. At the same time, however, I firmly believe that the European project makes sense.
