In light of these events and so that these violations of human rights are not repeated, I support the call to confirm that the Strategic Partnership between the European Union and the People’s Republic of China should be based on shared principles and values, as well as the call to intensify efforts to address the Tibetan people’s human rights situation in the framework of the EU-China human rights dialogue.
