I think that the report adopted will mean that consumers are better protected and better informed. They will be able to distinguish easily between ‘regular’ food and food intended for a specific group of recipients. From now on, producers of infant formula, for example, will be obliged to provide better and more reliable information on the composition of their milk and ensure that products placed on the market are free from pesticides. The new regulations will help to make the European population healthier, as well as reducing administrative burdens and facilitating fair competition."@en1
