However, we have no idea as to what kind of instruments will be adopted to ensure the proper functioning of this market. I have seen that dairy producers are extremely vulnerable and, even though there have been intervention tools available, we have experienced crises in the sector. I am not sure that small farmers in Romania will have any chance of survival in a deregulated dairy market. This is why I call on the Commission to reconsider phasing out milk quotas in 2015 in order to guarantee stability and predictability in this sector."@en¹
