Although I am in favour of cooperation with third countries, and especially developing countries, in the area of R&D cooperation and data sharing of know-how transfer on clean and renewable energy sources, as stated in §78, and although I am generally in favour of an EU energy policy based on clean and renewable energy sources without dependence on fossil fuels and nuclear energy, I cannot agree with any further spending of funds on ITER or any other fusion research, further reliance and investment in nuclear energy, and I definitely do not agree with energy exploration in the Arctic region."@en1
