lpv:translated text	"This Commission proposal concerns mobilising EUR 1.12 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to cover the cost of technical support for the Commission. A maximum of EUR 1.75 million can be used each year in order to cover the requirements of implementing the EGF, comprising the following activities: monitoring, information, creation of a knowledge base, administrative and technical support and evaluation. We consider it positive that the Committee on Budgets adopted the amendments tabled by the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs EGF Working Group. These amendments were made to ask for simplified applications, faster processing of the applications, efficient information tools funded by technical assistance, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of using the ‘crisis derogation’ criterion before approval of the new EGF Regulation for the period 2014-2020."@en1
