"Mr President, cyber wars and the possibility that rivalries and brutality could move from real life onto the Internet or into cyberspace would have looked like something out of a sci-fi film 10 or 15 years ago, when the Internet was first becoming popular. Today, they seem entirely possible, and not just in the near future but here and now, as we can see, for example, in the recent report stating that the North Korean regime has invested a great deal of money in training its own cyber terrorists who plan various attacks on the West on behalf of the North Korean communist regime. This shows that international cooperation and fighting potential hazards in cyberspace is one of today’s top priorities, and therefore I voted in favour of this report."@en1
