lpv:translated text	"Madam President, I support this resolution, although the quality of statistic data available should be improved. It is true that the gender pay gap has not decreased significantly over recent years, and large gaps still persist in this area. I call upon the Member States and social partners to promote gender neutral employment policies and equal opportunities in order to ensure equal pay for equal work. Women’s career should not be affected by pregnancy or maternity leave. Furthermore, society should review wages in professional areas in which women predominate, such as education or health. Finally, of course, I would like to emphasise this: we need many more women in politics and in decision-making positions."@en1
