lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the economic and trade partnership with China is of paramount importance. However, relations need to be balanced so that both sides can benefit fully. This is why I endorse the emphasis placed by the report on increasing reciprocity as a main solution to resolving the economic imbalances. I also feel that we need to provide even greater support to European companies so that they can enjoy fair access to the Chinese market. I should point out that Romania is focusing particular attention on stepping up economic cooperation with China, particularly in areas such as cross-border infrastructure, energy, agriculture or tourism. In 2011, bilateral trade amounted to a total value of USD 4.2 billion, while the volume of Romanian exports to China rose by 36% compared to 2010, which was a higher growth rate than the import rate."@en1
