lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the Members who initiated this debate raised the issue in their ninth question of whether it would be a good idea to review the cofinancing requirements for EU programmes aimed at SMEs. However, we must make the context clear and if we weaken or water down the definition of SMEs by including mid-caps, there will be less money available to distribute to the SMEs in an area where the funding was already insufficient.
