lpv:translated text	"Madam President, ladies and gentlemen, the effects of the economic crisis are currently being felt throughout the European Union. If we are to get back onto the road to growth, we need to focus on the internal market – the most important instrument. It should be an internal market for citizens and companies at the same time. Synergies between the national authorities are therefore to be supported, and these should demonstrate more commitment in order that legal provisions are transposed properly and within deadline. The Member States must meet their obligations, and transparency and efficiency are urgently necessary. The advantage needs to be clearly conveyed to citizens and companies.
