Indeed, I believe that the situation in Somalia requires the European Union to reaffirm its commitment to the Atalanta operation. I also agree with the rapporteur on the need to take measures on land as well as at sea. I think that it is important to contribute to establishing a strong Somali State, which can offer its people prospects for the future."@en1
