lpv:translated text	"I am voting for this report, which underlines the need to fill all vacancies necessary for the European Institute for Gender Equality to run effectively and fulfil its stated goals. I regret the delays and cancellation of a number of procurement procedures as a consequence of, firstly, the institute’s financial and administrative independence only being gained at the end of the second quarter of 2010 and, secondly, the lack of qualified support to the institute’s operations unit. For those reasons, the majority of the budgetary commitments had to be carried forward to 2011, as stated in the institute’s annual activity report. I also recall that the Court of Auditors has stressed that the institute is of the utmost importance for promoting gender equality in the European Union. Therefore, future reports should contain details of any obstacles that have hindered the institute’s activity during the budgetary procedure."@en1
