lpv:translated text	"I voted against granting the Council discharge in respect of the implementation of the 2010 budget. I take a negative view of the Council’s refusal to attend any official meeting of the Committee on Budgetary Control related to its discharge. Furthermore, the Council has failed to provide in writing all the documents required for discharge, including the full 2010 internal audit and annual activity reports. The financial transparency of the EU institutions is very important for maintaining citizens’ confidence in the European Union. I welcome the European Parliament’s call for the Secretary-General of the Council to provide comprehensive answers to the questions posed in the European Parliament’s report along with the relevant documents as soon as possible, so that the Committee on Budgetary Control can consider granting the Council discharge in respect of the implementation of the 2010 budget."@en1
