The electronic version of the (OJ) enables this type of access and is a crucial instrument for information on the EU. In order to be able to make progress with this process, it is important to overcome the fact that the electronic versions of legal acts are not legally binding. This situation creates uncertainty about the exact content of European Union legal acts. I voted for this motion for a resolution because of the facts that it highlights and because I believe that the purpose of this regulation is to contribute to legal certainty and to reducing the cost of accessing European Union legal acts for citizens and businesses."@en1
