lpv:translated text	"This report, drafted by Mr Moreira, concerns the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Regulation (EC) No 1225/2009 of 30 November 2009 on protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Community. This draft amendment has emerged following the adoption by the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) of the Appellate Body Report in the case ‘European Communities – Definitive Anti-Dumping Measures on Certain Iron or Steel Fasteners from China’, which pointed out inconsistencies between Council Regulation (EC) No 1225/2009 and the WTO Anti-Dumping Agreement. Given that the EU and China agreed on the timetable for implementing the DSB’s recommendations and decisions on 19 January 2012, and that the Committee on International Trade has already used the simplified procedure to adopt the draft resolution, I voted for this report."@en1
