lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the current interpretation of the existing prohibitions under European patent legislation does not provide the required legal certainty and is not clear enough because patents are being granted for products obtained using conventional methods. We obviously have a legal matter to deal with, which is not yet resolved. The European Parliament must send a strong message. No one claims or can claim ownership of nature.
