". This report addresses the climate change issue from the gender perspective. It should be remembered that, as the report states, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has confirmed that the impact of climate change varies according to gender, age and class, with the poor likely to suffer the most. We agree that all policies should have an integrated gender dimension, including ‘climate-related policies’. We also agree with establishing gender-equality and gender-justice objectives in all policy areas, including this one, so that developments in this field do not exacerbate the inequalities between men and women. Equally positive are the aspects of the report relating to drawing up plans for implementing and evaluating policies and projects; to adapting evaluation tools and developing environmental protection actions for local projects on specific issues and with a focus on women; and to the gradual increase in new and additional funding, calling for the integration of gender equality as an issue cutting across all climate funds and instruments."@en1
