In many countries, women represent an at-risk population that will be seriously affected by the consequences of climate change. I particularly welcome the inclusion in this report of an important reminder: the transition to a green economy will only come about with more female scientists and engineers. This report also recalls our ambition to see quotas for women applied to management positions, particularly within the framework of climate diplomacy. While this report focuses solely on the situation of women, we must not forget the situation of other groups who are particularly vulnerable to climate change."@en1
