lpv:translated text	"The Draft amending budget no 1/2012 was put to the vote in the European Parliament on 18 April during the April plenary session. I supported the report by Ms Balzani in plenary. This report, which relates to the financing of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) programme (http://www.iter.org), will provide financing for the additional cost of this project, amounting to EUR 1.3 billion for the 2012-2013 period. The Commission adopted this draft amending budget in January 2012. The Council took its position in March and made no changes to the Commission’s proposal. The Balzani report was adopted with no amendments in the Committee on Budgets on 29 March. I recommend that we follow the position of the rapporteur and the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) by voting in favour of this draft amending budget."@en1
