lpv:translated text	"− This text, by Ms Thyssen, concerns the proposal for a Council directive on a Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base. At a time of crisis like the one we are experiencing, it is important to implement reforms that improve the economy and stimulate growth. Although implementing this proposal for a directive is not obligatory for the Member States, it represents a very important step towards creating a more favourable competition environment for companies and the relaunch of the economy. This, therefore, is a more transparent system that halts double taxation, and demonstrates less bureaucracy – the Member States will apply their taxation via a single access point – and less tax flight. The existence of a revision clause enables the Member States to verify whether the implementation of this directive is positive or negative for a market economy that generates growth and creates jobs. I voted in favour because this is an optional system without costs for companies, which will contribute to economic growth within the EU."@en1
