I voted in favour of this report on Parliament’s approval of the Agreement between the European Union and the United States on Passenger Name Record (PNR) data, following a previous rejection of the agreement in May 2010 and its referral to the Commission for negotiation. This agreement approved by Parliament on 19 April 2012 protects the legal certainty of air passengers and airlines, and guarantees a high standard of personal data protection."@en1
