lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report because I support the proposal for creating synergy between the loan programmes and EU funds in Member States receiving financial assistance from the European Union or International Monetary Fund. Member States face major obstacles in terms of attracting the private funding needed to implement investment and infrastructure projects which can only be part-financed by public funds. In this context, the report is of paramount importance as it provides a framework which is intended to mitigate the risks associated with loans granted to banks or with project sponsors in Member States experiencing problems with financial stability. It is crucial that we hold on to the private investors who are involved, and we must ensure that we keep all the obstacles preventing the cohesion programmes’ implementation to a minimum. The report marks an important step towards doing this."@en1
