"I voted in favour of this own-initiative report, which advocates the European Parliament’s position in ongoing negotiations on entering into an EU-Armenia association agreement. This agreement seeks to strengthen the political and economic ties between the EU and Armenia and to create a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA). In addition, the report highlights the efforts made by Armenia in terms of respect for human rights, and calls on it to be particularly vigilant during the upcoming presidential elections in 2013."@en1
