The purpose of these new negotiations is to deepen and strengthen political and economic ties between the EU and Azerbaijan. Despite everything, there are still a few issues not tackled in this report, notably energy. There are also very controversial issues such as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the human rights situation in the country. Let us hope that these issues will be resolved in the best possible way for all parties.
