lpv:translated text	"I voted for this resolution because it is a comprehensive text that underlines the need for the EU to avoid double standards between its human rights policy and other external policies. I am particularly pleased for the huge victory achieved in this Parliament by the cause of the Sahrawi population. The text adopted condemns the ongoing repression of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, calls for the release of 82 political prisoners belonging to the Polisario Front, and strongly supports the path of self-determination of Western Sahara in accordance with UN resolutions. I am proud to have campaigned for this success today. The rights of the Sahrawi are those of us all, and this position will have a bearing on the EP’s negotiations to end the last case of colonial oppression in Africa."@en1
