Indeed, the text aims to provide some guarantees for these workers who often find themselves caught up in events in which the legislative framework is not always clear, given that they work in a Member State that is not their country of origin, with different social security legislation that, in some cases, does not provide social welfare benefits or subsidies for self-employed workers.
