lpv:translated text	"Mr President, I support the negotiations of the EU-Azerbaijan association agreement, which will allow the strengthening of relations with this important partner. Economic and commercial exchanges are an integral part of the process since they contribute to the development of political cooperation. We need to intensify the promotion of partnership in the energy field, which meets the mutual interest of ensuring energy security through the diversification of supply sources and transport routes. I would like to recall in this context the AGRI Interconnection Project for the transportation of liquefied natural gas launched by Romania, Azerbaijan and Georgia. I also wish to emphasise the need for increased EU involvement in the efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We should use more extensively the framework provided by the Eastern Partnership and the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in order to boost confidence and encourage inter-party dialogue."@en1
