Unfortunately, as you yourself mentioned, it looks as if the development of the Eastern Partnership has overshadowed the Black Sea strategy, and the European Union’s approach to regional cooperation has been extremely half-hearted in recent years. I am glad that you yourself highlighted the significance of the European Union taking part in regional cooperation, and not only in the energy, environmental and transport sectors, but also in sectors involving human contact – tourism, culture and education.
