lpv:translated text	"As you know, on 23 January 2011, the European Union acceded to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD), which is of historical importance not only because it is the first human rights convention that the EU has joined as a regional organisation, but also because the convention is of central importance in my report adopted by the European Parliament last October. In order to ensure that this UN convention and the EP report on mobility and inclusion of people with disabilities and the European disability strategy 2010-2020 really achieve results in the world, it is necessary for this commitment to also appear in the EU’s international relations, in line also with item 106 of my report. My question is whether, in the EU’s international relations, the human rights review and related political declaration and action plan will contain criteria and assessments in order to enforce the rights of people with disabilities."@en1
