Kosovo is part of that group, and is a country that has followed a difficult path since the former Yugoslavia came to an end following the collapse of the Soviet empire. However, the so-called ‘war’ in Kosovo, which remains unresolved and very controversial throughout the international community, has also contributed to the fact that peace has still not come to the region.
