Constructive approaches towards regional cooperation and good-neighbourly relations are key elements of the stabilisation and association process. In this sense, Serbia is in a position to become an important player in guaranteeing security and stability in the region. Bilateral issues should not represent and be used as an obstacle in the accession process, but they should be addressed in a constructive spirit, as early as possible, taking into account overall EU interests and values."@en1
