lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the proposal for a Parliament decision on amending the Rules of Procedure to take into account the changing relationships between Parliament and the institutions representing the national governments because it was fundamental to update the Rules of Procedure after the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty, since changes occurred thereafter to the attribution of responsibilities and competences in the EU institutional architecture as regards legislative, budgetary and political competences. Besides, I strongly believe that the European Union needs to strengthen the loyal cooperation between its institutions, in order to increase the effectiveness and the functionality of the EU policy and decision making. With regard to this, I would like to draw attention to the example of the negative experience of the Schengen evaluation reports that made it evident that existing limitations have to be overcome."@en1
