lpv:translated text	"This report, which was drafted by Mr Vaughan, examines the estimates of revenue and expenditure for the financial year 2013 - Section I - Parliament. The economic crisis that is affecting most of the Member States requires us to exercise restraint in our own budget. I therefore welcome this proposal for a modest budget which has grown by only 1.9%, below the forecast rate of inflation, thus meeting the Commission’s request. The cuts that have been introduced seek not to jeopardise either the quality of services or the effectiveness of the work carried out by Members. I voted for this report, as I agree with the need to rationalise resources and implement greater institutional cooperation in terms of both buildings and human resources."@en1
