In my opinion, work of this kind is very important for the European economy and so also for EU citizens. In the long term, preventing tax evasion may mean people will have more money in their pocket, in which case cooperation between Member States is both essential and desirable. In addition, the move towards achieving an efficiently operating fiscal union in the EU is causing a reduction in differences between prices of goods, which, in turn, means greater prosperity for all the Union’s citizens."@en1
