"You know how important I find the harmonisation of the internal market. Therefore, I found it perfectly natural to vote in favour of the new rules on administrative cooperation which should enable Member States to accelerate the levying and collection of excise duties on products such as alcohol, tobacco and energy products and to improve control over their revenues. The idea is to make information exchange automatic, particularly by using a standard form, and thereby to simplify procedures for a great many of our fellow citizens who sell these products on a daily basis."@en1
