lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this report with its proposal to postpone until 30 April 2014 the deadline for transposition of Directive 2004/40/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from physical agents (electromagnetic fields). There are many concerns about implementing the directive, especially that exposure limit values would place disproportionate limitations on the use and development of medical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications, considered today to be a vital tool for the diagnosis and treatment of a number of diseases. Given the complexity of the matter, the Commission proposed extending the deadline for transposition of Directive 2004/40/EC. However, I agree with the rapporteur that there should be an extension of 18 months, rather than 24 months as proposed by the Commission."@en1
