lpv:translated text	"I am strongly opposed to the Council proposal amending Decision No 573/2007/EC establishing the European Refugee Fund for the period 2008 to 2013. I find it unacceptable to link the resettlement procedure to the use of this European fund. Since resettlement allows persons from a third country to be transferred with refugee status to a Member State, this would bring about illegal immigration and facilitate organised crime. I do not think we need to encourage yet more desperate people to come to Europe, especially at a time of crisis such as we have been experiencing for the last two years, which has led to job losses and higher unemployment, especially among young people."@en1
