"We have built the European Union on a foundation of values. They may be called into question at any time. As MEPs, it is our duty to defend them. I therefore voted in favour of this resolution because it is inconceivable that in Europe a government would fail to take measures against private initiatives aimed at inciting racial hatred and xenophobia. That is what is happening in the Netherlands. The government must quickly condemn the websites put in place by their partners in the Freedom Party (PVV). Furthermore, this extreme-right party is openly claiming ownership of these websites. Many questions will need to be asked."@en1
