"Concerning the proposed bond, which could be very important for transport infrastructure, yes, I think it can work. There are two main opposing views. One of the opposing views now being discussed in Member States is a fear that this proposed bond is somehow a hidden eurobond or a bond which could increase the debt burden uncontrollably, which is not the case. It is something completely different. It is an instrument which is linked to concrete projects and is intended to involve private money. The second fear is that some Member States are simply opposed to it, and you simply have a very complicated explanation. You listen, you think and you do not understand. These are the main criticisms being voiced in this discussion, but things look promising. After discussions on the proposed bond, when and if they are completed, we will launch a pilot project. We think that we can involve more private money in these investments, which will definitely facilitate growth."@en1
