lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the report. The Statute for a European cooperative society (SCE) was adopted in 2003 and this report strengthens the rights of the workers. I personally believe that cooperatives should be established from the bottom up. The fact that there are only a few isolated European cooperative societies within the EU is due to the fact that such projects cannot be created in a top-down approach from Union level. For those few SCE cooperatives that already exist, however, it is important that the rights of the workers are strengthened. The fact that there is no passage concerning full trade union rights for employees of cooperatives is very regrettable, but, as the report nevertheless entails a step in the right direction, I voted in favour of it."@en1
