"Thanks to this vote, European citizens can plan their will properly and personally. It will provide legal certainty on a complex issue. European citizens will, at long last, be able to choose between the legislation of their own country or that of the country to which they have moved. The regulation will smooth, simplify and streamline cross-border succession. Perhaps it will not be possible to solve all the problems, but there will definitely be improvements.
