lpv:translated text	"Madam President, I voted for this report because the European Union needs good-quality education which will foster research and innovation. Young people must be able to develop a wide range of skills so that they can become integrated into and adapt quickly to the labour market. Given the difficulties encountered in finding the first job, I should stress the importance of internships and professional integration programmes. The recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications is not only vital for encouraging student mobility, but also for the single market and the free movement of workers. I hope that the ministerial meeting in Bucharest in April will yield positive results, contributing to the development of the European Higher Education Area. I should mention that Romania has launched a comprehensive education reform programme as part of its government reforms. Providing a good-quality education remains one of the priorities of the Romanian Government."@en1
