This trade liberalisation will harm small and medium-sized producers, who will suffer from trade liberalisation because they are unable to compete with intensive production models. This convention favours big business, which it will enable to win new markets and access cheap labour, as well as to circumnavigate the social, employment and environmental standards in force in European countries.
