I find it particularly horrifying that only 5% of all books are published in accessible formats. For blind and visually impaired people, this lack of accessible literature represents a significant impairment in their quality of life. In its Charter of Fundamental Rights, the EU has committed itself to protecting disabled people from discrimination.
