I believe very strongly that the Russian people deserve much better than they are receiving at present. We would all want to see free and fair elections. Some say it will not happen. Opposition parties must be given fair play, but, above all, I certainly hope all goes well for the Russian people in the coming weeks and months. I wish them good elections, I wish them to be free and fair, and I sincerely hope that the electoral commission is able to oversee those elections rightly and properly."@en1
