The Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament advocates the innovative management of this vast spectrum by the European Union, for the purposes of economic, social and cultural well-being. The adoption of this report will enhance cooperation among the Member States, with the trend being towards harmonisation, with a single EU-level strategic instrument on the radio spectrum.
